The Daily Reset

I'm so glad that every day is open to new possibilities.

You get a daily reset.

A chance to have a better day.

Better than the one today.  Where work didn't go so well. Maybe you made a wrong decision. Or, at least, a less right decision. Or maybe you didn't sync with your co-workers.

That's ok.  Daily reset.

Or maybe you've been a bit cranky at home and left for work one night without saying goodbye to your husband.  Just walked out to the car, started it, backed it out of the garage, and then shut that garage.  With your husband standing in the empty space vacated by the car, waiting for you to look up and smile.  But you don't.

Yep. You get to have a daily reset.

And maybe money has been stressing you out. Because you are trying to live on a budget.  I mean, really stick to that budget.  No matter what. Maybe you're driving the car around with the AC off, to stretch out a few more miles on that tank of gas. To get you through till payday. Because it would end civilization if you just used $10 from your checking account.  You know, the one that has money in it.

Pull out that Get Out of Jail Free card. Daily reset.

What about that one where you weren't very nice to those you love the most? You know, the ones you feel safe enough around to treat mean sometimes. Just because you're low on patience and high on frustration.

That's ok.  Daily reset.

So, be kind to yourself.  Even if today was awful, tomorrow is open to new possibilities.

And that is truly a thing of beauty!
