Do you have someone in your life like this?

I do.

I have a few.

Some of these people were closer to me than others, so the pain is more severe.

Why do things have to change?

Some say it is just a new season in your life.

Or in their life.

Well, I'm not happy.

I don't like this kind of change.

And I have to say that sometimes being an adult sucks.

That is all.

Now go be extra nice to someone today.

Words...make better choices

This is one I've been working on this week.

Not that I make BAD choices, but I could make BETTER choices.

Choosing my attitude with work.

Choosing how to spend my free time.

Choosing how to spend my money.

Choosing who to spend my time with.

Choosing my priorities over busyness.

Choosing to remember the old me (the less cranky me) that made better choices...

Words...on kindness

because...why not.

everyone can use a bit more kindness.

especially those we love.

it seems like we can be the hardest on those closest to us.

and that's just not right.

so go ahead.

and sprinkle a bit of real, or imaginary, confetti around today.

Words...on failure

Anyone other than me feeling a bit bruised today?

Yeah, I thought so.

But we need to remember, bruises don't last forever.

They will heal with time.

And don't ever forget to just keep swimming.
